Senior Area Manager
Job Description:
Achieve budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals to maximize profitability within all areas of responsibility.
Work as part of the senior leadership team to positively impact the effectiveness of operations.
Manage the team of sales employees; direct the day-to-day activities of the team, plan, organize, and assign work; develop and communicate strategies and goals.
Create and implement tactical sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, and boost business volume during off-peak periods..
Analyze current/potential market and sales trends and coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share through added business volume and increased rates.
Manage, develop, and train sales staff to ensure area sales and profit targets are achieved or exceeded.
Develop and implement sales strategies, setting annual, monthly, and store-specific targets, while managing sales performance to meet objectives.
Identify optimal locations for new stores or pop-up shops, negotiate business terms, and review contractual agreements.
Prepare and analyze daily, monthly, and annual sales reports, providing insights to management.
Review sales records, invoices, and payment statuses, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.
Oversee product returns and credit notes, adjusting product allocations per store based on sales performance and stock levels.
Lead, support, and guide the sales team to achieve targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
3-5 years of management experience, with at least 2 years as an Area Manager (preferably in fashion or bar industries).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel.
