Senior Area Manager

 

Job Description:

  • Achieve budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals to maximize profitability within all areas of responsibility.

  • Work as part of the senior leadership team to positively impact the effectiveness of operations.

  • Manage the team of sales employees; direct the day-to-day activities of the team, plan, organize, and assign work; develop and communicate strategies and goals.

  • Create and implement tactical sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, and boost business volume during off-peak periods..

  • Analyze current/potential market and sales trends and coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share through added business volume and increased rates.

  • Manage, develop, and train sales staff to ensure area sales and profit targets are achieved or exceeded.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, setting annual, monthly, and store-specific targets, while managing sales performance to meet objectives.

  • Identify optimal locations for new stores or pop-up shops, negotiate business terms, and review contractual agreements.

  • Prepare and analyze daily, monthly, and annual sales reports, providing insights to management.

  • Review sales records, invoices, and payment statuses, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.

  • Oversee product returns and credit notes, adjusting product allocations per store based on sales performance and stock levels.

  • Lead, support, and guide the sales team to achieve targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Develop and refine sales processes, effectively addressing and resolving any immediate challenges..
  • Set pricing strategies, control return on investment (ROI), and analyze customer needs and purchasing behaviors to optimize product offerings.
  • Research market trends, innovations, and new sales channels to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Manage stock, store functionality, product displays, store locations, and associated costs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 3-5 years of management experience, with at least 2 years as an Area Manager (preferably in fashion or bar industries).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs.

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel.

  • Willingness to travel to other provinces as required.
  • Strong English communication skills (Chinese proficiency is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proactive and challenge-driven mindset.
  • Strong leadership abilities with problem-solving skills to address urgent matters effectively.
